The Camassia Natural Area is a mind-blowingly beautiful fairy land of wildflowers and butterflies that sits just yards away from Interstate 205, the smelliest, loudest, most Percocet-addiction-inducing highway in the Portland metro area. The irony could turn a nun slutty.
Trust me, the best way to enjoy this one is to just stream this birdsong and hike slowly through the soothing photo montage below. You’d never find a place to park, anyway.
